My name is Birgit Knoll, i'm the founder and managing partner of mySPOTTi!

Approximately eight years now I am creating stylish wall and floor products with a high degree of functionality together with my team. We are producing high-quality products for you in a digital print so that you can make your home not only more beautiful but also even more spacious. Everything is developed and produced in our own factory i.e. in the old factory in our small home town Seefeld, approximately 30KM from Munich. More than ten years of experience in design and printing are behind the idea of mySPOTTi.

It all started with the inspiration and the need to redesign my own kitchen, which was getting on in years and was in desperate need of renovation. Together with my husband and business partner Manfred Mies, we found a creative solution, because new tiles only were not an option. We had to deal with several conditions on site i.e. one of the oldest houses in Seefeld at the Pilsensee lake, which did not allow us to comply with all structural required measures. Therefore, we made a virtue out of necessity. As owners of a digital printing company, we are both very familiar with beautiful design and the possibilities of printing on various materials. So we made a custom-fit kitchen backsplash with various family photos from an aluminium composite panel and installed it in the kitchen as a tile replacement. Our friends and other guests were very enthusiastic about this idea, which was at the same time a practical splash back, very easy to maintain but also a decorative furnishing element. Soon there was a demand for a more variation of choice, in which is why we saw the need to make this innovation in the kitchen sector accessible to a wider audience and in 2009 we took the opportunity ( at that time still called digital concept) to trade with a kitchen wholesaler. The enthusiasm for customised, printed kitchen backsplashes was so enormous that more and more enquiries arose, as well as further ideas to brighten and cheer up living spaces with little effort. In 2012, the time had come and we were able to launch the mySPOTTi brand in Germany. Only two years later ‘’mySPOTTI’’ had already established itself in Austria, Switzerland, France and Spain. So far, our success as "mySPOTTi makers" Made in Germany proves us right: whether nostalgic tile patterns, structures or city skylines, all are looking fresh and bright, having a timeless elegance. Whether as a practical splash back or as a decorative furnishing element. This tile replacement idea could also be easily adapted in the bathroom as a perfect splashback in the shower, at the washbasin or in the bathtub area. Thus, our kitchen and bathroom backsplashes with customisation are an important part of our mySPOTTi product portfolio.
